I've had a 914c since August. It really takes some time to explore as it doesn't come with a proper manual. Unfortunatley some software/services - eg youtube - aren't supported on this machine. Generally - well built, good quality. Battery only last a day.

i am trying to buy a pda that will give me a good phone a music setup and a decent camera to say me carring these separate items with me. I travel quiet a bit so the internet is important. Would prefer the tom tom uk maps unless I can be convinced that there is better of uk and Ireland I bought your Pda Essentials and more confused than ever I like the HTC Touch Pro but think it is expensive for what I get , at least camera wise at the moment tending towards ipaq 914 Can you help me with the pros and cons

914c arrived on time: good service, easy to track parcel with City Link. It replaces an MDA Compact III and is much faster. Screen is good: I've loaded CoPilot 7 GPS and the screen is better than the Compact III for it - the extra width helps. Looks like about 3 or 4 hours on battery on GPS - pretty good. All internet/email and text programmes loaded quickly on a T-Mobile card (I tried a Virgin card first and that had problems connecting). Screen navigation by the various methods is good, with a bit of practice. I read a warning about LiPo batteries but charging is precise and phone doesn't get even warm. Looks like a long association!

Superb, brilliant, enlightening!

In terms of its sheer power, its mobility, 'beautiful looks' and outragous 'intelligence', its like having the Special Air Service, a Land Rover, Nigella Lawson and Professor Stephen Hawkins rummaging around in your wee pocket all at once!!

Yes, it is a little pricey, but you truly get what you pay for...unrivalled excellence! Beautifully put together too!
