The route 66 Mobile 7 Kit is designed for
smartphones without integrated receivers. Alongside the mini SD for storing the full European maps is a high quality Bluetooth
GPS receiver (SIRF Star III). Mobile 7 can turn a broad range of smartphones into a fully functional GPS quickly and easily offering all the expected functions. Such functions include turn-by-turn voice instructions displaying directions directly up to a house number. Maps can be displayed in a number of different ways including 3D, night colours and bird eye view.
Mobile 7 allows you to add any number of intermediate way points along your route, ideal for those who want to stop and visit some of the suggested points-of-interest along their way or for the sales man who wants to work out the most cost effective way of reaching all their clients.
Traffic information can be downloaded quickly to your smartphone via a GPRS connection supplying up-to-date dynamic routing helping take you by any traffic jams, road works or accidents a long the way. Route 66 has resisted the temptation like other GPS suppliers to make this a subscription based service and instead offer this feature for free.
