I have an IIi and have the same problem as Tauira. MY battery life is awful and I too get frequent crashes. The only cure is to do a soft reset, but this is frustrating in a busy working day.

Great phones and nice features, but the battery life and stability need urgently addressing.

At a 9am start, I am under 50% by 12noon!!!!

Steve

I think it is just a feature of the machines. Many seem to be having the same problem with the power supply, which has simply meant that I carry a mains charger everywhere!

The crashes are a pain, and they occur more frequently when you try and switch quickly between applications, but mainly involving the phone. Perhaps only a fix a OS level will cure this issue.

Not bad devices on the whole though

regards

AWB

XDA was my biggest waste of money ever. Batteries go flat in no time reboot reboot reboot all day long reinstall allprograms when batteries go flat & tom tom - what a larf! add 2 hours per journey in laybys rebooting rebooting rebooting. Latest Tom Tom up date slows it to a snails pace Ive had 3 under warranty and i sold it on ebay. They in my opinion are utter rubbish & un repairable. I took mine to O2, phone shops & computer shops to try to get it to work & got nowhere. dont waste any more time with it & sell it & try something else.

Hi All I know this is an old post but I thought I'd share my experiences with you all. My xda IIi at first had great battery life, it would last around 3-4 days between charges but now it wont last 5-6 hours. I dont know if you guys are having the same exact problem as me, my charge light remains on even when I undock the xda. When I look at the battery state it says its set to charging, this is what is causing the battery to be discharged so quickly but i dont know why it thinks its charging when its not even connected to the cradle.

Any ideas?
