Sending Email over Wifi XDAIIi

Hi, Recently upgraded to an XDAIIi which i love with a passion. I have two Wifi networks (home and work) and so when setting up my O2 email, i have set up three accounts, one for O2 over GPRS (in:mail.o2.co.uk Out:mail.o2.co.uk)
and one each for home and work, with the relevant out server set to the ISP, ie smtp.btconnect.com and smtp.ntlworld.com.
The GPRS one works fine (except when connected to a wifi network, is there a way to get it to disconnect automaticaly from the wifi to connect to gprs, send the email/mms or whatever, then log back on to wifi?), and the other two both recieve mail fine, but neither of them will send. i have checked as many settings as i can find, but to no avail.

Any ideas anyone?
