Angry XDA 2s

I recently bought an xda 2s for my daughter for christmas. It has some icons on the o2 active menu she would like to delete. Any ideas how? She is also having problems with SMS, it sometimes only lets her send about 70 characters in a message. and charges her a second message charge when she goes past 70 characters. Also, how can she set it up for email. Anyone any info on expected battery life between charges?

Regards

Re the text message situation, it will happen when you daughter uses the "keyboard" option and chooses a word with an apostrophe (when prompted by the device as you type in the word). I've not found any way around this and have only got past it by writing, for instance, "do not" instead of "don't". This is very tedious I know but that's how it seems to be.

I don't htink you can delete items from the active menu - but would suggest a contact into O2 to determine for good.

Email, depends on what type she is using? Pop3 etc, but in the manual there should be an email section!

Battery life depends on usage so it depends how heavily she phones, writes text messages etc, but its OK for at least one day at reasonably heavy usage.

Cheers

Andy.
