Default Cannot sync calendar with outlook 2002

Just got an O2 XDAIIi (very impressed) and put loads of contacts in via bluetooth, and put loads of dates etc in the calendar. Thought I'd try to sync it using Active sync..............only partial success.

Everything except the calendar will sync!!

If the PPC is not connected I can tick the calendar option on Activesync on the PC but it does not synchronise......no error message....it just doesn't appear in the "Information Type" boxes to say it is synchronising. Very confused and frustrated!

Please help!

I haven't, but I'll try it later. What if I still want to use Outlook Express, is this still possible? I'm a relative newby to Outlook but have used Outlook Express for years.

You can't sync with OE, only Outlook.

Outlook is now my preferred email app, but still it won't synchronise the calendar.

When the xda is not connected I can select Calendar to synchronise nut when it is connected it doesn't even try to synchronise them. Also, I cannot select the Calendar to synchronise when the xda is connected. Bizarre?!?!

Any other suggestions?
