Activesync and firewall

I have an XDA mini s, and an Orange SPV M2000. I have upgraded to Activesync 4.1.

When I plug in the M2000 it synchronises OK, but when I try the XDA it starts to connect but does not complete the connection - it just stays 'Connecting'.

If I turn off my firewall it sychronises OK.

I am not sure why, but it must be something to do with Windows Mobile 2005 on the XDA. (The M2000 uses 2003)

Does anyone know what I need to change in my Firewall to get it to work?

Do a search for active sync ports and you should get a list of the ports you'll need to allow on your firewall software.

i had a similar problem with my xda11s. i am using norton internet security 2006
