 XDA2i wireless connection
I have recently purchased an XDA2i and have a couple of queries that I need help with. I have a Thomson Speedtouch wireless modem from AOL which I am trying to configure with my XDA, unsuccesfully. When I click on the 'WLAN' icon it all appears good. Status: 'Connected to Network'. It has the name of my network shown in the 'SSID box. The signal strength is 80%. These are the only bits that actually mean anything to me so here's the rest of the settings.
Mode: 'Infrastructure', Tx Rate: '11M', Channel: '6', BSSID: '00-14-7f-28-99-DB', MAC: '00-09-2D-1F-28-99-DB', IP: '169.254.55.102'.
When I then click on 'Configure Wireless Networks', it is only showing 'Connecting' next to my network in the list of available networks, not actually 'Connected'.
When I try and connect to a web page it switches off the wireless connection and connects via GPRS mobile web.
Could anyone help with this please?
