When you say loosing setting, do you mean it forgets which GPS device it has, or that you are not getting a signal?

TT will always momentarily show NO GPS DEVICE when it is powered on, and first starts stalking to your BT receiver. After, usually, no more than 40 secs you should see this change to NO GPS SIGNAL until you get a GPS lock.

I have the same problem, My Tom Tom loses the signal and I have to reconfigure again the Gps; in settings usually this happens daily after I turn it off.

Search this forum for .cfg, and you'll find the solution.
