MSN messenger probs on miniS

Hi all, im with o2 whom dont seem to be much help atm with my prob i have the mini S and i can use messenger and the net no probs with WIFI but with GPRS only the internet works and when i try Messenger a screen comes up with " Logon to MSN messenger Service failed because the service is not responding please try again later" please could u help me out ??o2 have emailed me settings for gprs but cant seem to help with this prob
