O2 XDA mini S won't boot... help!!

My o2 XDA mini won't boot at all. It is frozen on the blue bubbly screen.
It says in red at the top left:

IPL 2.21.0001
SPL 2.21.0001
GSM 02.07.10
OS 2.21.4.1

I think it has the latest ROM upgrade - the o2 site is issuing 2.21.4.101

When I plug in the USB connection, active sync won't recognise anything. And the screen goes distorted after about a minute.

Any ideas??

Try a soft reset. If no joy, then try a hard one. Otherwise sounds like a replacement job.

I think you're right. Neither of the above options is doing anything different. I'm going back to the shop. I hope it's not a case of the usual windows unreliability transferring into the mobile range..!
