You can, but wouldn't it be easier to simply use the PC?

You'll be using the PC connection, so your employer will still be able to monitor what you're doing.

It would be eaiser to use the pc, But I was hoping to use skype and messenger that are installed on the mini s. But as you say, would work still be able to monitor this?
They have put blocks on to stop us downloading such things as skype and Yahoo messenger.

Thanks

Pete

Yes they would, and no doubt would be monitoring IP traffic to/from your PC. The fact that you are using the PDA makes no diff. It's the PC doing all the donkey work, so your employers will know exactly what you've been doing. I hope you are familiar with your IT policy (seriously) as employers are now becoming very strict on net usage when you should be working. Even connecting your PDA to your PC *might* be against your IT policy - many firms use the clause "unauthorised devices/storage media".
