I have lots of problems with the camera going on and this leaves the XDAII unable to work or makes it lose all the information (something not funny when you are in the middle of nowhere and need the tom tom to go back home...).
It is not too bad when I open the cover and the camera is the open window on the screen, but at times it runs on the background and by the time I do realize this "it's to late".
Of course, if this is not enough, at times it plays funny and keeps trying to connect to GPRS (again and again), with the same results. |

| | You can change the camera button to something else.
Start - settings - buttons.
You might want t buy a decent case as this will stop the buttons getting pressed. http://www.totalpda.co.uk/Proporta-A...II-I-Mate.aspx Quote: |

Any answers please? |

I hadn't realised that it was to do with the Active Software, I thought it was a phone fault. |

| | IIRC XDA's can be reset into Business mode which will bypass the active software.
There are several XDA hangouts on the net. I'm sure a search for active software xda reset business will find the instructions you need. |

Go to Start, Settings, use the System tab, tap button lock and bullet "Lock all buttons except the Power Button" Now the only way that any button will become functional is by first pressing the power button and avoids the camera turning on unnecessary. | |
