XDAIIi + Garmin Nuvi 310

I have finally found a device (Garmin Nuvi 310) which will provide both Sat Nav and a Bluetooth handsfree function for the XDAIIi. However, I can't dial out using the Nuvi unit - it dials the number and sends this to the PDA, but the PDA only appears to dial the first digit of the number. I have just downloaded the latest XDAIIi software from the O2 website, but it still won't dial out. I can receive calls to the Nuvi unit and answer the calls using the Nuvi touch screen without any problems. Any suggestions?
