Default Help needed. How old is my XDA?

Hi guys

I've just bought a XDA Mini S from ebay after deciding it would serve me better than a Nokia N95.

The unit was described as 6 months old and in very good condition, to cut a long story short, when it arrived the unit looked as if it had been used as a football.

I'm currently in dispute with the seller through ebay but his argument is that it is fair wear and tear for 6 months old.

What I need to know is if there is any way of telling how old the unit actually is, ie does it have a life clock like mobile phones or is there any way of seeing when the unit was first used?

I'm pretty sure its quite old as the slide mechanism is also quite dodgy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated in fighting this scumbag.

Cheers

Loz

XDA developers might be able to help. Otherwise, you'd need to ask O2.

I'd also ask the seller to prove it with a dealer receipt.
