Default XDA Mini S - Misplaced Symbols

Hey All,
Just picked up a Mini S yesterday. I still haven't got a clue about the thing. 10 years of Nokia will do that

A problem I've noticed is the symbols are misplaced. Example, to get the @ symbol it show as being on the S key. But instead when I press the "blue dot" and S I get the ! symbol. To get the @ symbol I have to press the "blue dot" and the D key.

It seems the symbols are one key off.

Does anybody know how to rectify this?

Thanks guys.

I would check with the seller on this one. You would probably need to change roms to change the keyboard layout tlike that.

Thanks for the reply Martin. The seller forgot to give me the CD, they're in the post to me. I've tried resetting the XDA but the problem remains.

Is there anything I can download, new firmware/ OS that will rectify this?

Thanks again for the reply.

Have the screen aligned properly. It's on the actual keyboard

Thats what I thought. I think the only way to change this is via the ROM. The normall backup disks wont have this. Have you asked the seller about this as he may have changed something if he had it unlocked.
