XDA Orbit Picture ID

Several of the ads selling the XDA Orbit say it will show picture ID of callers. I've assigned pictures to my regular callers, but they don't appear when that person calls. I get the standard Incoming call screen, with the person's name, number, Company, etc.

When looking at the screen some distance away, the text isn't much help. I'd like to have the picture - which is what my old phone does and has done for years.

Does the XDA actually support picture ID? If so, how do I get it to work?

I sussed it!

Assigning a picture via the Contacts list doesn't work.

The method is to use the pictures and videos application, select the picture, click on Menu - Save - Save to Contact - and then scroll to the contact and select it, then press OK.

It works - sort of. The picture is pretty small in the corner of the screen, but better than nothing.

My Motorola Razr puts the picture full size on the outer screen - much better.
