Default O2 Orbit On Payandgo And Gprs

Hi all.
Has anyone successfully managed to use the GPRS on there orbit using a payg sim.
Its driving me crackers.

Settings I have used connect the gprs but will not let you view or use it.

Settings Im using are

access point: payandgo.o2.co.uk
username: payandgo
password: password
tcip is set to server assigned
Proxy. 195.113.200.195:9201
proxy set as this connects to internet.

O2 say it might not be possible.
There is always a way.
Isn't there?

regards

Jullian

Dont think O2 support data on PAYG.

If they do, you'll need to call them to enable it, as it'll be off by default

I have heard this but...
If you go into o2 setup program
it has options for payg in ireland and isle of man but only uk post pay..
Perhaps o2 are being greedy???
Perhaps time for a protest then???
Why should england be left out???
If of course this is the case.
But when intstalling ireland settings from phone they do match what you can find online for gprs settings if you were over there.

Given that O2 are very expensive for data compared to others, why would you even consider PAYG data with them?

Monthly customers pay an extortunate amount per mb. Imagine how much they'd sting PAYG customers!

Pehaps something to do with the fact I have recently had my house repo'ed and my credit is ****ed. (THANKYOU EX F$&KING WIFE,B!TCH,W!TCH,COW,SPAWM OF SATAN!!!)

Hope that clears up the reason why on payg at the mo untill can clear my name from hers.

Thus the question still remains.

Other options perhaps.

Will the likes of orange or anyone else allow gprs from the orbit?? it is not simlocked??

regards
