Check you haven't got mac filtering on the router, and that DCHP is enabled (this provides the device with it's IP).
Also, remove any IP addresses from your PDA, as this can cause conflicts on some routers with DCHP.
Word of warning though on open wifi at home, is if anything illegal happens you are totally responsible if the authorities come knocking. There was a case of child porn cited on the BBC news site a month or so back..... |
