You would be better off getting your safety camera database form
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums . It costs £19 per year and updated every couple of weeks or so. There is also an option to pay £2 per month if you'd prefer that way.
Basically, you download the speed zoned cameras as a zip folder, unzip the folder and copy and paste the .bmp and .ov2 files to inside your map folder. (Only need to transfer the .bmp's on the first occasion). You then set up your warning distances. A general view is to set up a 20 second warning for fixed cameras, so for 20mph set as 200 yards, 30mph 300 yards etc. For mobiles you really need a minimum of 440 yards, although some people use 880 yards for all mobiles.
In addition to above you can also download .ogg files, which also go inside your map folder. With these you get a choice of a siren, loud, soft or none, followed by e.g. Warnig Gatso ahead, speed limit 30 miles per hour.
Try the month for a start and see if you get hooked.
