Where can I find POI’s to install ? And what POI’s will be available for palmOne?
Answer TomTom Navigator comes with many pre-installed Points of Interests (for example petrol stations, hotels, parking lots). These POI’s are very helpful since you can search them based on your current location, ideal in a city you are not familiar with. In this version of TomTom Navigator it is not possible to load your own set of POI’s. However you can store any location as a favorite which enables fast selection.
TomTom will make the feature available to add third party POI’s for TomTom Navigator for palmOne. An update that includes this feature can be downloaded by end of summer 2004.
