I am looking to use my IPAQ on my boat to provide a cockpit GPS read out (in addition to the boat GPS inside the cabin.

I don't particularly want charting software ('cause of expense) and have been looking for a freeware product that provides basic information. I stupidly thought there would be loads of these, but have not found anything yet.

Anyone got any ideas???
