Port is port 8, i reinstalled the GPS and tom tom navigator software and accuracy is still approx 18 yards out. The settings are SysOnChip Seriel GPS as this is the chip in the Pretec device. I changed this to the other Syson setting and still no good. I then installed the Pretec satviewer and accuracy is still out.
I will now try what you said and change the settings to Tomtom Wireless GPS even though it is Pretec and see if it makes a difference. If not i will have to shut my eyes and turn off 18 yards later than it tells me when in foreign lands.
