Are you using CheckPOInt? If so:
1) Have you copied the Voice warning files (.wav 's) into the CheckPOInt folder?
2) Have you set CheckPOInt to open TomTom and vice versa?
and finally:
3) Have you tried opening CheckPOInt rather than TomTom?
