They were supposed to do on there their Plus service but it never really worked out that way. They might not feel its cost effective since if they update maps twice a year they've just doubled their costs from teleatlas. Which would probably put the price up for upgrades. I know its been suggested to them already but they havent said anything to us about more regular updates.

Nav 6 should be July hopefully.
I know the new destinator uses Navteq Q1 2006 release so it should be miles ahead in some areas. Havent had a chance to had a good look at the program yet though.

It's long been a grip of many TT5 user, and the vast majority on this and other forums (being heavy users) WOULD be willing to pay a, obv modest, fee to ensure they have the most up to date maps possible.
Maybe Martin or Charlie know if this is coming (prob TT6 only), or maybe could suggest it to the right people at TT. |
