Default Alternatives to AA 2006?

I am looking to get a GPS.

I want it to be a PDA if possible, have traffic updates with no sub, speed camera POIs or simular and if possible Euro maps. Now the AA one has traffic but charges a lot for speed camera data and no euro maps (although AA say it is planned for July but not costing yet).

Any alternatives that offer these or some at under £300?

No one does free traffic data, as they have to pay to aquire it themselves.

TomTom 5 Maps of Western Europe seems to fit your bill. See www.tomtom.com

so, maybe the AA with Tomtom installed for when I work in Europe? No other traffic option for reasonable cost? which would you rather have, traffic or speed camera info?

Why not have both?

Use the TT traffic, and I use it with a free speedcam DB from poiplace.oabsoftware.nl.

true but i hear the tomtom maps are a bit out of date? Also i prefer the idea of radio traffic rather than the hassle of setting up via my phone and costing me gprs data rates.

Bit expensive way to go having two nav apps.

Do you use in europe a lot, or simply for the annual holiday?

well, maybe for work..but not a lot no. I just dont see an alternative that has new maps, FM traffic data and a good PDA for under £300.
