Question Posting through royalmail

Hi,

I am looking to buy a Tom Tom Go 700, but have just found out that delivery is through Initial Citylink. I have had really really bad experiences whenever these guys are involved. Without going into boring details it is suffice to say that I'm am put off purchasing whenever they are involved!

I read somewhere on the forum and the website that delivery by royal mail can be requested. This would be really good as I can just go and pick up the package from the royal mail depot. Could you please let me know if this is possible and as to how I need to go about requesting it.

Regards

I recently had a delivery by these guys, I live in a secluded house in the country and I park my car in the garage. Within 30 seconds of this guy driving up my lane he'd climbed over my back fence and was looking in through the windows. Obviously he didn't see the security camera and the Rotweiller I let out into the back yard, but i've never seen anyone climb a fence faster in my life.

Signature?....no problem.

I dont think Total PDA do any alternatives.

Quite agree tha City link aren't the best for either the customer, or the business using them. However they do have good rates, hence the lower del (and overall) product costs.

Just be glad it's not by parcelline!!!!
