How do i put the sat nav software onto my x50v, have i to sync to my laptop or can i just put it straight on to the SD memory card.

What software are you thinking of installing as there are a few to choose from Co-Pilot, Sygic, Navigon, Route 66, I-Go to name a few.

Depending upon which one will depend whether it is supplied as a download (for the memory card or it might even be supplied through the post on its own memory card) - Mike

You need Co-Pilot Central which is available for free from the ALK web site Here - Mike
