dell axim exe file

Default dell axim exe file

Hi all, I need help in installing files to dell axim x5, I would like to run 3 .exe files of car software and it says it's not a valid pocket pc file, is there anything I can do to fix this, thanks in advance Martin.

Hi Martin, what are the files called that you are trying to install and do you know what the program on the PPC should do/ is called - Mike

Hi Mike, the programs are called CALC PHILIPS DE DOS.exe, CalcGEN_2009_crk.exe and RenaultImmCode.exe ,they are radio code and immobiliser code programs, thanks Martin.

Try connecting the Axim to the PC via Active Sync then double click the exe files on the PC to launch the applications as they should then install assuming they are intended to run on a PPC.

I don't like the look of the second file you list as it looks like a KeyGen/ crack gennerator, where did these files originate from - Mike

Hi, thanks Mike, I already tried that way to install the programs, the software works ok on a normal laptop and I got it from digital kaos.

Does it claim to work on a PDA or is it just PC based software, the only other way I can think of would be running the application on the PC and then see if there is an installer option for PDA from within the application - Mike

.exe files will not run on PDA. As mike says you might need to run them from the PC with the PDA connected to install them.

They don't look like the sort of programs that would run on a PDA.
