Thumbs down connection & partnership problems

HI
Happy New year (not)

I have a dell axim x3. with cradle.
i have had to do a restore on my computer and i now am ubable to get my handheld pc connetcted and all i getshowing is no partnership.

on my handheld it does show the same computer name as my desktop.

please please help at wits end

Okay, I don't know the Dell Axim at all, but I'll try to help, others here may be able to do a better job though.
If you have reset your Computer, you probably have to reload ActiveSync and then probably Delete the Partnership on your PDA and Create a new one. Hope this helps

Thanks but already tried this.
I have installed lastest Activsync 3.7.1
but iam not getting partnership wizard up?

Check Windows Device Manager for unknown devices.

but if it shows or rather doesn't show my device where do i go next?
I am a bit of a novice on this one.

Check out http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=274182 for advice in this area. It's not a directly related issue but tells you what to look for in this case.
