Hi All,

Im looking at purchasing an X50v in the not to distant future and would like some advice on the GPS systems that will work well with this unit?

TomTom 5 is listed as being compatabile with the 50v but i am not sure about the car kit that you would have to get as we dont supply any for that model.

I own an X50V and went for a RoyalTek RBT-2100 and so far have been very impressed with it. I looked at many other units and went for this one based on its chip set, sensitivity, battery life/swapability (uses a standard Nokia Lithion Ion) and the units diminutive size and light weight. BT pairing with the X50V is straightforward and it works with any NMEA compatible map software. I hope this helps.

Angry Dell X50v and TOmtom 5

I have Dell Axim X50v and bought tomtom 5 navigator with BT GPS receiver. GPS receiver pairs with PPC and also connects but tomtom 5 doesnt work I get "No GPS device" messegae.
