Default tomtom navigator 2004 and dell x50v

According to Tomtoms web site navigator 2004 and the x50v are NOT compatible. Does anyone use this combo?

I'm upgrading from an x30 to an x50v w/win2003se. I have tomtom navigator 2004. I know I need a new powered cradle, but I want to make sure the software will work. I understand I need to get a code from tomtom to install the software, but I want to make sure it's compatible.

Can anyone recommend a cradle?

I'm going to continue using my tomtom wired mouse receiver that plugs into the cradle.

I appreciate any feedback.
thanks,
Steve

Update: I was able to load the software onto the new pda. For some reason I didn't need a new code from tomtom. I got a new cradle and everything worked great.
