Help with GPS Setup

I've just got a x51v running Windows Mobile v5.0 and TomTom v5.1 with a cpit-GPS GP-27. I'm new to Bluetoothe & GPS (very new) and cannot get the TomTom to see the GPS Reciever. The instruction in the GP-27 User manual don't match what I get on the Dell. Can anyone guide me through the setup (Step by Step)

All i can tell you is how i set mine up,

I paired the bluetooth device with my pda first
then when i installed tomtom i told it bluetooth gps, think it says other, cant remember now
i told it Com 8
Then finish tomtom and turn the bluetooth gps on, wait for it to get a satalite fix
and then turn tomtom on
it should now find it.

This is how mine worked, hope everything goes ok

Another thing to try is download something like gps viewer, this then can search for the gps unit, at least you will then see what com port its using and weather its working ok.
