Dell Axim X51 unable to turn on

I have recently purchased an Axim X51 however to turn it on I have to take out the battery and then reset it by holding down the power button.

Does anyone know why?

Possibly the X51 has a battery lock, which is not engaged. ensure any battery lock is fully engaged.

I had this problem and found that if I leave Blue Tooth on at all times it switches back on no trouble. I have no idea why it works but it does!
