com port problem, O2 mini s

I have an o2 mini s and am having the problems with destinator pn that everyone seems to have with tt5 namely my pda wants to connect to my BT GPS on com 6 or 7 while destinator wants com 1,2,3,4,9 or 0 I have spent hours trying to find the answer pleaes help!!!
