Why does my Smartphone screen always switch off while I’m navigating?
Your phone has a power settings option (see phone handbook). The screen is normally set to switch off after a set period of inactivity to save power. The screen will switch itself back on, however, before the next manoeuvre e.g. Keep right, 3 Km.

If you wish to have the screen on at all times then you will have to change the setting in your Smartphone’s options.
