destinator 3

hi,
i have a compaq 3830 and i am using it combined with my road angel and destinator 3 software as a satnav device.
it works well until about 10-15min into journey when it starts to go all wrong!
device seems to slow up and display this message "storage memory critically low"
(uk map is installed on 256mb sd card,no other programs seem to be running.)

help!!!

wont let me check memory when problem starts but without destinator running:-
total main memory: 31.5mb
storage: program:
allocated 14.55mb 16.60mb
in use 3.48mb 5.63mb
free 11.07mb 10.97mb

i had an e-mail today from hp who suggested a soft start/hard start/ rom upgrade. done all this and reinstalled destinator and still the same problems!!

Have you checked Destinators site for application updates? You could also adjust the program memory to free some more up, might help.

i am running version 3.0.75 which according to their web site id the most upto date
when i manually adjust the slider on the memory bar it goes back to the centre!

Check HPs site for any available updates for the iPAQ, failing that email Destinator on support@destinator1.com
