Default Destinator PN Won't load

I use Destinator PN on an Acer N35 and has worked well for last 6 months until today where it will not load.
It presents the opening splash screen with the "loading" graphic at the foot of the screen suspended half way and then... nothing.
Have done hard and soft reboot and the restart is all OK, but Destinator still fails to boot correctly. (Other progs work fine.)
TIA
Flighty

sound like you are going to have to backup your info and hard reset the PDA to install Dest from a clean start

Hi Stevie - did the hard re-boot and the re-install from original system disks and sadly there was no change - the rest of the PDA functions fine - except Destinator

hmm that is strange, did you delete and reinstall the maps on the memory card?

Yes, I deleted the maps using the uninstall on the Destinator console, then on subsequent occasions via a PC interface and latterly via File Explorer on the device. The maps are re-installed on the memory card.

update... the pda has now been returned to mfr under warranty. I thank you Stevie <PING>

cheers Flighty
