Downloading routes to Garmin Legend

Downloading routes to Garmin Legend

I have a Germin Legend as well as Garmin’s City Navigator autorouting software. I can generate routes using city navigator but when I download these to my Legend I just get a list of Waypoints. I am sure that I have done this successfully in the past but this was before I rebuilt my PC. Any ideas?
