 Garmin Street Pilot 3 Trouble!
Hi all,
Oh dear where to start, I recently brought a second hand street pilot 3 off of ebay, the thing is it did not come with no coupon codes or registration numbers. I installed the european navigator Version 4 on to my PC then updated it to the free 6.9 version that is on the Garmin website, the thing is it says that the map is LOCKED in the bottom right hand corner of the map screen, and of corse not being the original registered user i can't get it unlocked.
I have contacted the seller and i am currently waiting for a response to see if he has any codes for me. (I doubt he has though he doesnt seem very helpful) I have also contacted Garmin Europe and they have told me i need to get the seller to get in contact with them. (again, doubtful) so i have emailed him with all the details.
Does anybody have any ideas?? If worse comes to worse and the seller doesnt have the codes is there anything i should or can do??
I may have to resort to reporting him to ebay, becuz i have spent £150 on a pile of plastic with an LCD screen that is loaded with just a base map! Useless!
