Thumbs up Haicom GPS & infrared mounts settings.

Guys if you have got a IR mount with a Haicom reciever you need to:

1) Connect the IR to the top of car kit, make sure it is in line with the IR on the PDA. It has to be close in order to get a strong enough signal. You may need to bend it slightly

2) You need to disable all incoming beams from your PDA. Click on start, settings, connections and then Beam or IR and disable.

3) Go to Tom Tom GPS status, click on GPS bottom left and un tick the box, you need to select either

Tom Tom Navigator GPS
Native IR

OR

Tom Tom Navigator GPS
S2410 IRDA 2410

4) Plug the power cable in, connect your PDA to the car kit and plan a route :-)

More usefull information like this can be found on the FAQ, the search engine is great.
