Default Mitac 168 or navman PiN

I don't have a PDA. Have little use for one but........

I am after a GPS Nav system for the car and balk at the excellant, but overpriced garmin Street Pilot and the ilk. Buying a cheap[er setup with a potential PDA use is a thought. So, Navman Pin or the Mitac 168 with Tom Tom 3?

The Navman is essentially a Mitac with a built in GPS receiver. The benefit of the Navman is that the SmartST software supplied includes maps for UK and Europeean countries but TomTom only has UK and major roads of europe.

For £339 do I get a ready to go system, there is no mention of a car kit for instance, as in no extras to buy? Its not that clear from the description. The blue type says its supplied with a 128meg card. Is that correct?

Earlier posts on these forums cast doubt over Navman and Tom Tom in respect of accuracy. Roudabouts seemed to be a particular problem. Also notice the posts were 2 years old in some cases so I assume the Smart ST software, in this case, is improved now. Obviously patches , version levels are higher. I have two colleagues who have GPS. One has Tom Tom 3 on a PDA the other uses Garmin. Both have no problems. Navman(Navtech) is highly rated in other formats so the same here?

Thanks for your help by the way.
