 GPS drivers
Just about to put together a satnav system utilising a Toshiba e740 pda with operating PPC for windows ver3. The receiver is a sirf chipset with an RS 232 interface. When I connect the charger to the PDA it flags up a pop up on the PDA unidentified USB device enter the name of the driver? There is a cd with drivers on for win 98 me and 2000/XP and even Win Ce. However, after following the instructions I appear to be getting nowhere fast. I intend to put TT3 as the nav software and I know from another system that the GPs wizard in TT3 has the sirf chipset on its database. Would this be the driver?
I am puzzled as to how to get the drivers from the disc on the PDA as the instructions are mainly for USB connections on a PC.
Anybody got any ideas. |
