Default which GPS?

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for a navigation system using PDA which is easy to use. I'll probably use IPAQ 2210 but don't know which GPS to use. I'll be using it for cabbing. It has to be:

*has bluetooth
*long battery life
*most updated UK mapping
*most accurate positioning
*reliable

I'm choosing between Navman 4410 and TomTom3, could anyone advice me if which is better or if you've got any suggestion.

Also, can I use this navigation system for finding my way on foot. I've only got a budget of less than 200pounds.

thanks.

Welcome to our forums.
Navman 4410 is my recommendation. Has 20 hours life on 3 x AAA batteries.
And yes you can use it on foot.

Thanks Charlie, but does any of these 2 gps allow me to navigate a route by just typing in a road name without knowing a postcode?

The tomtom 3 claims that it provides door to door navigation, does it really mean that it takes you right outside of the chosen address if you specified the house number. Does Navman does the same thing. Since I'm gonna be using it in the streets of London where streets are very close to each other, which one of the two has got more accurate positioning?

They will both offer the same accuracy. The determining factor will be what type of signal you can achieve in the built up streets of London. You need to maintain a connection with at least 3 satellites at all times in order to calculate your position. More satellites means a more accurate fix. High buildings reduce the visibility you have of the satallites so can reduce the accuracy at the same time.
