I have a ipaq 4150, I would like to buy a suitable gps system to add to it, also a car kit could you please advise me which one is compatable with the Ipaq 4150
Should I buy bluetooth or wired

I would buy wired for the car. BT ones can be a complete PITA and you have a seperate device to charge and worry about battery etc.

you'd be able to do it with a basic garmin 201 or similar and the link cables. it is a bit of aproblem but at the end of the day you then have a seperate gps for using for other things. like geocaching. all you're then need is something like memory map and you should be away.
depends on what else you'll use it for. if just in the car and you can afford it then get a specific car unit.....you need to have a think

Welcome to our forums Dorroy.
You have several options available for navigation kits. If you intend to use it mainly for in-car navigation then as said previously a wired system will be perfect for you. However if you intend to use if for walking/cycling etc then a Bluetooth system will probably be more suited. The type of navigation you want to do will determine which software you should use. For example, both TomTom and navman are suited to in-car whereas Memory Map is better suited to hillwalking. If you can post what intend on doing with it then we can narrow the choices down a bit for you.
