Question New GPS advice

I run an HP5450 with TT3 from an HAICOM GPS unit (secured by the wire through a suction pad) and a cheap vent mounted system for the PDA. Because I change cars quite regularly, I want to upgrade to a more robust system - I think a gooseneck adaptor (prob from EBay?)and a better GPS receiver. Has anyone got any recommendations with regard to a decent GPS unit which can be transferred robustly between vehicles?

Welcome to our forums.
A Bluetooth receiver would probably be better if you change vehicles regularly. With a windscreen mount this would make it easy to transfer the kit.
