You should get the Major Roads of Europe on with the TomTom, but not the detailed towns without paying more. You're right: don't copy software - it is illegal. So, it depends what level of detail you want/need. If it's the annual holiday, you might be able to get directions for the final approach from the holiday operator - goes against the idea of a Nav system, I know, but it's a cost-effective compromise to navigate easily across Europe, and then use their paper map for that last bit...
You will need more storage for the maps: I got a 1GB SD card for about £50 so can hold maps, contact databases, music and there's even space if I want to buy some films to watch on train journeys. |
