Default what should i buy???

hi there

I have Tomtom Navigator 2, standard GPS receiver that comes with TT, and a bluetooth IPAQ. Do have the occasional problem with it deciding it wants to freeze, and also had problems with it going to the wrong addresses.

So I want a sat nav that will allow me to key in a full postcode so that it can be 100% reliable!!!!! (if that is not being too optimistic). Just got a new job and really cannot afford to get lost. Ideally looking to spend as little as possible - is there anything I can get to work with TTN2 to do what I want. And does anyone have any suggestions as to why it crashes/loses signal etc - all cable connections are secure.

If anyone has any views on decent speed camera detectors interested on your thoughts - looking for something that is not reliant on a database- want something that actually "detects" the cameras!!!

Thanks in anticipation!

Welcome to our forums.
With regards to it crashing, have you ensured you have all the latest updates for TTN2 from their website? Does your PDA have the most recent ROM available? Are you running other programs in the background whilst TomTom is running?

There is nothing in the UK that uses the full postcode as standard but you can get a 3rd party application to run along side TomTom2 & 3 from http://www.digitools.co.uk/ukpostcode.php which will allow you to search using a full postcode. I can't guarantee 100% accuracy though.
