Default Tom Tom GO, iPAQ + Navman Jacket or iPAQ + Tom Tom Navigator and Road angel 2????

Hi, ive been looking at a few options for my first venture in to the world of SatNav.

I was thinking about buying an iPAQ 3970 with the Navman jacket when i came across another option that i could use with the iPAQ. I seen that you can use a Road Angel 2 as your reciever and get Tom Tom Navigator 3 as your SatNav on your iPAQ. I also seen the new Tom Tom GO and this also appeals to me.

Could someone give me some expert advice on this as i am a little lost and i can only read up on so much.

I would be buying everything from scrath and i would have minimal use for an iPAQ other than just for the SatNav. I had also been thinking about buying a Road Angel 2 over the coming months aswell but that ends up my best option i will rush it along a bit.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to our forums.
If you have little use for a PDA then get a TomTomGO. You can add the safety camera database from www.pocketgps.co.uk to it to warn you of speed cameras.

It's reliable enough for a free system. You can add your own if they are not included. You can then post you updated database to PocketGPS to be included in future updates making the whole system even better.
