CF or SD

Recomendations. I will be using my Dell V5 400Mhz for Sat Nav in a few months when I have saved for the Tom Tom 2. But First thing I need is more memory, Both my slots are empty. So what is best do I got for 256Mb SD or 256Mb CD Ultra (new fast one). Or 256Mb CF or mabe stretch for the 512Mb CF. I will be using the hard wired Tom Tom 2 with cradel.

The CF is abit faster than SD, so I would recommend the 256MB CF Card for what you want.

Lovely thank you. Dose make matter with the CF? As I have seen it defently dose with the SD?

You might want to keep your CF slot clear for a CF style (slot in) gps.

CF is a bit faster than SD but there is alot more CF expansion equipment like, camera's, Bluetooth-WIFI, Modems etc
